My name is R. Derrick Thomas, Chief Executive & Photographic Artist, at Deekster Photography.
WHY
Travel and photography are two of my passions. I love exploring new places and finding images that create an emotional response and invite further exploration and wonder. I began my photographic journey with my first disposable camera as a small child and have always enjoyed creating memories through visual experiences.
WHERE
I currently reside in the Philadelphia metro region and truly appreciate the city’s diversity, complexity, and historic architectural wonder. Due to the recent COVID-19 Pandemic and the impact on the greater Philadelphia area, all in-person photographic assignments require proof of vaccination and/or masks for indoor sessions. Design and retouch work is still available for contract.
